About The Author

Hi! I'm Jules. I'm originally from Long Island but now I live on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

I started writing in 2024 when I got the idea for The Art of Us while sitting at my desk at work, trying to distract myself from whatever task I was supposed to be doing. I scribbled it down on a post-it note and put it in my drawer, biding my time until I got home. When I did, I pulled out my laptop, and before I knew it, Chapter 1 was done.

I kept The Art of Us a secret for a long time. I was nervous to tell people, because what if it sucked? Would they make fun of me? It's hard to put your feelings into public perception and ask for positivity in return. Luckily, my support system, well, supported me, and couldn't be more excited that I started doing this. To this day, they still work on my unofficial marketing team (pro bono) and work harder than I do at it somedays. 

If I'm not writing, you can find me hugging my dog, Beans, or working out. Or reading. Or, I guess, hanging out with my Husband (if you're reading this, I love you!).

Weirdly enough, I hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering as well as the title of Coolest Author Ever. I also love memes, cheese (I'm lactose intolerant, but that's never stopped me), ginger ale, animals, collecting books, moving my body, and yapping. I've made the little life I live something I love and that is my biggest accomplishment to date.
